Hiring started earlier this month, and signage out front of the downtown Woodbury restaurant say Now Hiring – Walk-ins Welcome, but they have also posted job openings online (see below)Īs we noted in our Feb 21st update, the upgrade and remodeling work has been under way and it includes new painting inside and out, new lighting, new carpets, an upgraded kitchen and completely new bathrooms! We will go back, but a repeat of this performance would mean the loss of two customers.Charlie Brown’s Fresh Grill Woodbury – Rear Parking Area Entrance The salad bar, perhaps because of the large crowd, was in disarray with the bread tray almost empty. Since the dishes had taken an hour to arrive, we settled for what we got. We decided to have the BC trademark roast beef. The waitress was pleasant and helped to make up for the deficient host. When I got in - from a very distant parking spot - she said that I was now present and he asked again "Is everyone now here?" I this case "everyone" was 2 senior citizens. His attitude was - to say the least - poor. Te host told her she could not be seated until I 'arrived" and as forced to wait - even though there were open tables in the bar area. My wife (recovering from a recent medical situation) went in while I looked for a parking place. However, on our last lists we were somewhat disappointed. The waitstaff is friendly and the food is typically very good. My wife and I enjoy going to our local Charlie Brown's.
